November 19, 2024We Participated in ExpoAlfa 2024. Our Commercial Manager, Pablo Pussetto, represented us at an event that brought together key figures from the agricultural and livestock sectors. The discussions highlighted the importance and growing relevance of alfalfa as a crop, along with the opportunities it offers in today’s market.
The event featured exclusive talks for producers, including:
- José Maiztegui, professor at FCA-UNL, who spoke on “Alfalfa in the Nutrition of High-Production Dairy Cows.”
- Inés Brance Bonvini, FCA-UNL professor and Gentos developer, presenting “The Role of Alfalfa in Boosting Profitability and Productivity in the Central Dairy Region of Santa Fe.”
- Javier Baudracco, FCA-UNL professor, who explored the topic “Simple and Profitable Dairy Farming: Alfalfa is the Key.”
- Closing remarks were delivered by José Brigante, President of the Argentine Alfalfa Chamber, with a talk on “Opportunities for Alfalfa Cultivation.”
Additionally, sessions covered crucial topics such as seed genetic improvement, irrigation, soil fertility, alfalfa in silvopastoral systems, and the physical properties and quality of soil. The Dos por el Pasto podcast, known for its weekly focus on pastures, recorded a highly engaging live episode during the event’s first day.
