RICHARD CROOKES

Chairman

Mr Richard Crookes has joined the Board as Chairman. Richard has over 35 years of global resource industry experience across a diverse range of projects, geographies and commodities as both an operator and investor.

Richard is currently managing partner of Lionhead Resources, prior to this role he was the Chief Geologist and Mining Manager of Ernest Henry Mining in Australia, an Executive Director of Macquarie’s Metals & Energy Capital (MEC) division and, most recently, a senior Investment Partner at another mining private equity fund.

Richard currently holds non-executive board roles with Black Rock Mining Ltd (ASX:BKT), Brightstar Resources Ltd (ASX:BTR), and unlisted Geo40 Ltd. Also, Crookes holds a BSc in Geology and a Grad Dip in Applied Finance. Mr Crookes is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
