Richard Crookes

Chairman

Richard has over 35 years of global resource industry experience across a diverse range of projects, geographies and commodities as both an operator and investor.

Richard is currently managing partner of Lionhead Resources, prior to this role he was the Chief Geologist and Mining Manager of Ernest Henry Mining in Australia, an Executive Director of Macquarie’s Metals & Energy Capital (MEC) division and a senior Investment Partner at EMR Capital. He has extensive non-executive director experience in listed and unlisted companies.

Richard’s experience has spanned all aspects of mining projects, including exploration, mineral resource development, mine operations, environmental management, project finance and project management.

Richard holds a BSc in Geology and a Grad Dip in Applied Finance. Richard is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Tim Koster

Managing Director & CEO

Tim is an experienced investment banking business developer in the Pre & IPO stages. Significant agribusiness, mining (coal and iron ore) and energy technology business experience has enabled Tim to build an operational management team and expand Bifox production and exploration businesses into two divisions. Sedimentary PR fertilizer and Igneous PR for high grade fertilisers and PA for LFP battery supply chain markets.

Tim has previously been involved in the investment and operational development of Coal, Municipal Infrastructure and Agribusiness projects in Australia, Asia and Middle East.

Entrepreneurial skills with a record of achievement in expanding companies, substantial transaction origination, business development, financial structuring, and investment execution.

Ernesto Lima

Board Director & Chief Operating Officer

Ernesto is a professional civil engineer with 30 years of experience in the mining industry.

Ernesto graduated with a Ba Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, holds an MBA degree and a PhD in Management.

Ernesto, among others, developed the Las Cristinas gold mine project in Venezuela, the Pirquitas silver project in Argentina and the Tucano gold project in Brazil.

He was General Manager of Business Development for Luna Gold, COO of Valor Resources, and more recently Director Project Development of Endeavour Silver.

Serves in the Boards of Daura Gold Corp (TSX: DGC) and Limestones of Uruguay SAS.

His expertise includes leading all stages of project development, including conceptual and detailed operational and economic studies, mine engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

His strengths include project evaluation, safety performance, strategic analysis and team building.

Simon Kidston

Non-Executive Director

Mr Kidston is a highly experienced company director and former investment banker with more than 30 years of experience in the corporate and resources sectors.

Mr Kidston was the founder and former director of Genex Power (ASX: GNX), one of the leading renewable energy companies listed on ASX, until it was acquired by J Power for an EV of A$1.2 billion in July 2024.

He continues to serve on a number of other boards, including Energy Transition Minerals (ASX: ETM), Lithium Plus Minerals (ASX: LPM), Sparc Technologies Ltd (ASX: SPN), Greentech Metals (GRE.ASX), Moonlight Resources (ML8.ASX) and Permagen Limited.

Mr Kidston has an investment banking background, including many years of experience with groups such as Macquarie Bank, HSBC and Helmsec Global Capital Limited.

During this period he assisted companies to grow by accessing capital, negotiating strategic relationships and acquisitions.

Mr Kidston holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Griffith University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, and is Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Daniel Jimenez

Non-Executive Director

Daniel has an extensive experience in the Lithium and Iodine markets, ranging from exploration to commercial.

Worked at SQM, the world’s largest iodine and lithium producer from 1991 through 2019. During his career at SQM he held the Pinquitos SVP Commercial position for 10 years, with global responsibility over sales and marketing of the lithium and iodine business.

Prior to that, and based in Belgium, held regional commercial responsibilities for Europe and Asia for 5 years, particularly during the time of the birth of the Li ion battery industry in Japan, South Korea and China.

Over 8 years, he also headed SQM’s Exploration Group with focus on iodine, lithium, nitrates, copper and gold. He has been board member of several of SQM’s subsidiaries, private and publicly traded.

Once leaving SQM, he started a lithium and iodine focused consulting firm, iLiMarkets, having a portfolio of clients at all levels of the supply chain, from miners to car OEMs.

Since September 2019 he is a board member at Galan Lithium (GLN.ASX), an Australian company developing a lithium project in Argentina.

He is a qualified Civil Engineer and MBA.

Mark Sumner

Non Executive Director

A US-based mining and exploration venture capital entrepreneur with experience across a wide range of commodities and jurisdictions.

Extensive experience in cross-border mining and resources M&A and corporate finance including experience in junior mining listings on ASX, LSE-AIM and TSX(V).

Currently the founding Director and President of Daura Gold Corp., a TSXV-listed gold exploration company developing high-grade gold and silver projects in the Ancash department of Peru.

Founder of Kiwanda Phosphate and built a portfolio of exploration and development-stage phosphate rock properties in Chile, Peru and Colombia.

Kiwanda Phosphate consolidated the Bahia Inglesa sedimentary basin (Selaqueos and Kiwanda) through the acquisition of Bifox Ltd and surrounding licences.

Peter Rice

Chief Financial Officer

Peter joined Bifox in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all finance activities, including financial reporting, tax and financial planning.

Prior to joining Bifox, Peter was at Origin Energy for 26 years where he most recently held the position General Manager, Capital Markets, responsible for the Treasury, Investor Relations, Sustainability and Insurance functions.

Peter previously held the role of Origin Energy’s Treasurer.

Prior to joining Origin, Peter worked in investment banking at NatWest Markets and Lehman Brothers in Australia and Tokyo in the areas of debt capital markets and treasury.

Peter has extensive experience in corporate finance, project finance and M&A.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Business Administration.

Daniel Eizmendi

General Manager, Mining & Production

Daniel is a senior mining and construction professional with over 25 years of experience.

He holds a Civil Engineering degree from The University of the Republic in Uruguay.

Daniel has led the engineering and construction teams on several mining projects throughout the Americas, including projects in Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia and Canada, with capex of over US$500 million.

He has also led a number of construction projects, including a cellulose plant in Uruguay, a multisports facility in Peru to hold the Pan American Games, and infrastructure projects including highways and hospitals.

Daniel has worked as a consultant in the mining industry, developed and managed large teams (up to 2,000 people).

His areas of expertise include engineering, construction, commissioning, permitting, HSE, QAQC, cost and schedule planning, administration and construction.

He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Before joining Bifox, he worked as Project Manager in the Terronera Project in Mexico, with Endeavour Silver.

Brian is an Engineer with 35 years experience in resources and a specialist in phosphate projects. Brian worked with Worley on the 2015 Bayovar #9 Phosphate Project, adjacent Bayovar #7 Phosphate Project and phospate projects globally. His roles include Worley as Director Mined Fertilizers, Advisian as a Strategic Consultant, Thyssenkrupp, PwC and recently Avenira Phosphate. Brian is a committee member for AusIMM #3089329 and Chartered with IEAust National Engineer Register #285157, Australia.

He worked with Worley on the original Bayovar 9 Phosphate Projectand brings important direct Bayovar experience to Bifox.
